EGITECH Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how EGITECH ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile applications published under the EGITECH name (the "Apps") and our website at egitech.io. By using our Apps or website, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Information we collect

● Location data. Some of our Apps collect your device's location, including precise (GPS-based) and approximate (network-based) location. Where a feature requires it and you have granted the background location permission, location data may also be collected while the App is running in the background.

● Device and usage data. We may collect device information (such as device model, operating system version, and app version), diagnostic data, and crash reports to keep our Apps working reliably.

● Advertising data. Our Apps display advertisements. Our advertising partner may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, device information, and ad interaction data to serve and measure ads, as described in the Advertising section below.

● Information you provide. If you contact us or fill in a form, we collect the information you choose to share, such as your name and email address.

How we use location data

● We use location data solely to provide the core features of the App you are using, such as showing your position, recording location-based activity, and delivering location-dependent functionality.

● Location data collected by our Apps is transmitted to and stored on our backend infrastructure, which is hosted on Google Firebase.

● We do not share the precise location collected by our Apps with advertising partners, and we do not sell your location data.

● You can stop location collection at any time by revoking the location permission in your device settings. Features that depend on location may stop working, but the rest of the App remains usable where possible.

How we use other information

● To operate, maintain, and improve our Apps and website.

● To diagnose crashes, fix bugs, and improve performance and stability.

● To respond to your questions and support requests.

Third-party services we rely on

● Our Apps use Google Firebase (a service provided by Google LLC) for backend storage, analytics, and crash reporting. Data processed by Firebase is handled in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy, available at https://policies.google.com/privacy, and the Firebase privacy documentation at https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

● We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We only share data with the service providers named in this policy, and only to the extent needed to run our Apps.

Advertising

● Our Apps are free to use and are supported by advertising. Ads are served by Google AdMob, an advertising service provided by Google LLC.

● To serve and measure ads, AdMob may collect and process data from your device, including your advertising ID, IP address (which provides approximate location), device and app information, and how you interact with ads. Depending on your settings, ads may be personalized based on this data.

● You can learn how Google uses this data at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can opt out of personalized ads or reset your advertising ID at any time in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads on most Android devices).

How we protect and store your information

● Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and stored on Google Firebase infrastructure, which applies industry-standard security measures.

● Access to stored data is limited to team members who need it to operate and support our Apps.

Data retention and deletion

● We keep your data only for as long as it is needed to provide the features of our Apps or as required by law.

● You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. We will process verified deletion requests within 30 days.

● Uninstalling an App stops all data collection by that App, but data already stored on our servers remains until it expires or you request its deletion.

Children's privacy

● Our Apps are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights and choices

● You may grant or revoke the location permission (including background location) at any time in your device settings.

● You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.

● Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable data protection laws, and we will honor them.

Changes to this policy

● We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with an updated effective date. Significant changes will also be communicated within the affected Apps where practical.
